- • Inspect and test electronic assemblies and circuits for continuity, resistance, and operation; record results.
- • Assemble electronic systems and subassemblies; install components, wiring, hardware, and enclosures using soldering and hand tools.
- • Rework and replace electronic components and connections to meet specifications.
- • Clean parts and assemblies using approved solvents, air, and wipes.
- • Read and interpret schematics, BOMs, blueprints, and work instructions to determine materials and assembly steps.
- • Label and tag components and builds for identification and inventory control.
- • Position, align, and secure PCBs and components on ESD-safe workstations.
- • Package finished electronic assemblies and move them to storage or shipping.
- • Collaborate with supervisors, technicians, and engineers to plan work and resolve build issues.
- • Share assembly procedures and techniques with team members; assist with training.
- • Measure and adjust voltages, signals, and calibration settings to verify performance.
- • Fabricate cables, wire harnesses, and simple brackets per specifications using crimpers and hand tools.
- • Drill or modify panels and enclosures for connectors, controls, or wiring as required.
- • Complete and maintain production records, test logs, and defect reports.
- • Maintain ESD control, tool calibration, and safety standards at the workstation.
