Description
Coordinate and dispatch field crews, drivers, equipment, and service vehicles for pickups, deliveries, installations, or repairs. Use radios, phones, and dispatch software to assign work, track progress, adjust schedules, and compile service metrics and reports.
  • • Dispatch crews, drivers, equipment, or service vehicles to locations per requests and priority via radio, phone, or software.
  • • Arrange service or equipment repairs to restore operations and schedules.
  • • Relay work orders, messages, and status updates between field staff and supervisors.
  • • Coordinate with customers and supervisors to address service requests, changes, and issues.
  • • Build and adjust daily routes and work schedules.
  • • Create, receive, and validate work orders.
  • • Manage dispatch communications within assigned territories.
  • • Track locations and utilization of personnel, vehicles, and equipment.
  • • Maintain logs of requests, assignments, time, costs, inventory, and service outcomes.
  • • Determine resource needs by job and allocate personnel, vehicles, and materials.
  • • Alert field staff to traffic, weather, road closures, and other hazards.
  • • Order and issue dispatch-related supplies, tools, or equipment.
