Pick up and deliver packages, documents, and other items to businesses and residences by foot, bicycle, motorcycle, car, or public transit; plan routes, obtain proof of delivery, and provide timely, safe service.
  • • Travel by foot, bicycle, motorcycle, car, or public transit to complete deliveries and pickups.
  • • Load vehicles securely, following procedures for fragile or hazardous items.
  • • Unload and sort items for efficient delivery along assigned routes.
  • • Receive pickup and delivery orders with recipient details via app, radio, or phone.
  • • Plan and follow efficient routes using maps, GPS, and traffic updates.
  • • Deliver packages and documents to commercial and residential addresses.
  • • Sort items by route, priority, and delivery time windows.
  • • Obtain signatures, scan barcodes, and collect payments when required.
  • • Record pickup and delivery details, timestamps, and recipient responses in the tracking system.
  • • Report to dispatch after stops to confirm status and receive new assignments.
  • • Perform basic vehicle checks and maintenance, including fluids, tires, and refueling.
  • • Follow safety, security, and chain-of-custody procedures.
  • • Handle returns, undeliverable items, and delivery exceptions per policy.
  • • Collect, seal, and meter outgoing mail when assigned.
  • • Transport medical records, specimens, or medications under handling protocols when required.
