Description
Lead end-to-end delivery of construction projects as the prime contractor, managing subcontractors, field operations, budgets, schedules, permits, safety, and quality from preconstruction through closeout. Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and authorities to interpret plans, procure labor and materials, and ensure code-compliant execution. Resolve site issues while controlling scope, cost, and timelines.
- • Confer with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and inspectors to resolve procedures, complaints, or construction issues.
- • Plan, organize, and direct on-site construction and maintenance activities.
- • Determine workforce and subcontractor needs and dispatch crews to job sites.
- • Inspect work and coordinate inspections to ensure compliance with building codes and safety standards.
- • Review drawings, specifications, and addenda to select construction means and methods.
- • Procure materials, equipment, and rentals to support production.
- • Prepare estimates, schedules, progress updates, and cost reports.

- • Solicit bids and award and manage subcontracts, purchase orders, and change orders.
- • Adjust plans and resequence work in response to delays, weather, or emergencies.
- • Interpret and communicate plans, specifications, and contract terms to the project team.
- • Obtain building permits and coordinate required inspections and certificates.
- • Evaluate construction methods and logistics using takeoff and modeling software.
- • Self-perform or oversee craft work, as applicable (e.g., concrete, carpentry).
- • Lead site supervisors and direct daily activities of subcontractors and labor.
- • Administer submittals, RFIs, meeting minutes, and closeout documentation.
