Description
Lead the planning and delivery of construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, coordinating scope, schedule, cost, quality, safety, and compliance. Oversee subcontractors and site teams, manage contracts, procurement, risk, and change control, and serve as the primary liaison among owners, designers, and field operations.
- • Meet with owners, designers, trade partners, and site supervisors to resolve issues and align on work plans.
- • Plan, organize, and coordinate day-to-day project execution, logistics, and site operations.
- • Forecast labor and equipment needs and schedule subcontractor dispatch to the site.
- • Inspect work and review reports to verify compliance with building codes, safety standards, and contract documents.
- • Review drawings and specifications to determine construction means, methods, and sequencing.
- • Procure materials, equipment, and services and manage purchase orders and deliveries.
- • Prepare and maintain budgets, cash-flow projections, cost reports, and progress updates.

- • Integrate sustainable design and construction practices to reduce energy use and environmental impact.
- • Analyze life-cycle costs to compare sustainable and conventional alternatives.
- • Implement environmental compliance and site protection plans.
- • Provide project-specific training or toolbox talks on environmental and sustainable building practices.
- • Monitor field activities for compliance with environmental regulations and permit conditions.
- • Lead preconstruction efforts, including conceptual estimates, ROMs, feasibility reviews, and constructability assessments.
- • Coordinate third-party certifications and commissioning activities, such as LEED documentation.
- • Develop, update, and resource-load CPM schedules to meet milestones and deadlines.
- • Investigate incidents, delays, or defects and implement corrective actions.
- • Draft, negotiate, and administer contracts, subcontracts, and change orders.
- • Adjust schedules, sequences, and staffing in response to delays, weather, or site emergencies.
- • Communicate and interpret plans, specifications, and contract terms to field teams and stakeholders.
- • Obtain required permits, inspections, utility clearances, and occupancy certificates.
- • Evaluate construction methods and productivity using models, takeoffs, and cost data.
- • Direct and coordinate subcontractors and self-perform craft activities.
- • Lead and supervise project engineers, superintendents, and site personnel.
