Description
Provide hands-on instruction and oversight in biological science laboratories for undergraduate and graduate courses. Set up and run labs, teach techniques and safety, assess student performance, maintain equipment and supplies, and collaborate with faculty to align lab activities with course objectives.
- • Prepare and deliver pre-lab briefings, demonstrations, and post-lab debriefs.
- • Supervise and coach students during lab sessions to ensure correct technique and safety.
- • Evaluate and grade lab notebooks, reports, practical exams, and participation.
- • Develop, test, and revise laboratory exercises, manuals, rubrics, and SOPs.
- • Prepare materials, reagents, media, specimens, and equipment for lab activities.
