Sell directory advertising across print and digital platforms by securing listings, display ads, and enhanced profiles, and manage accounts to help local businesses reach targeted buyers.
  • • Prepare and deliver sales presentations on directory listings, display ads, and bundled packages to new and existing clients.
  • • Explain how directory placement, categories, keywords, and enhancements drive calls, clicks, and leads.
  • • Maintain an assigned book of business; renew, upsell, and cross-sell while developing new accounts.
  • • Prospect via cold calls, walk-ins, email, and social outreach to locate potential advertisers.
  • • Provide pricing, packages, and ROI estimates; create proposals and insertion orders.
  • • Recommend ad sizes, placements, categories, and profile enhancements across print and digital directories.
  • • Gather business details (NAP, hours, services, keywords) to build effective listings and ads.
  • • Draft or edit listing copy, headlines, calls to action, and promotional offers.
  • • Coordinate artwork, logos, and images; deliver proofs and revisions for client approval.
  • • Process orders, contracts, changes, and cancellations; ensure accurate billing and payment collection per policy.
  • • Record activities, pipelines, and account notes in CRM; manage correspondence and deadlines.
  • • Monitor campaign performance and deliver reports; review results with clients and recommend optimizations.
  • • Collaborate with production, design, and fulfillment teams to meet schedules and quality standards.
  • • Prepare media kits, sales collateral, renewal notices, and presentations using company systems.
  • • Identify new verticals and local markets for directory growth; propose tailored programs.
  • • Ensure listing data accuracy and consistency; submit updates and manage verification.
  • • Coordinate co-op advertising and compliance with vendor or brand guidelines.
  • • Attend sales meetings, local business events, and training to expand knowledge and network.
  • • Participate in RFPs and bid processes for multi-location or agency accounts; coordinate approvals.
  • • Follow territory plans and activity goals to meet or exceed revenue targets and KPIs.
