Description
Set up banquet spaces, serve food and beverages to event guests, and break down service in accordance with banquet event orders and service standards.
- • Review Banquet Event Orders and timelines before each event.
- • Set up rooms with tables, chairs, linens, place settings, and centerpieces per diagrams.
- • Assemble buffet, dessert, action, and beverage stations with proper signage and utensils.
- • Prepare and maintain coffee, tea, and water stations.
- • Greet guests, confirm table assignments, and assist with seating.
- • Pass hors d'oeuvres and beverages during receptions.
- • Serve plated courses, coordinating timing with the kitchen and event captain.
- • Refill water and other beverages; pour wine and champagne for toasts.
- • Check identification and follow responsible alcohol service policies.
- • Address dietary needs and allergens; relay special requests to the kitchen.
- • Answer guest questions about menus, ingredients, and preparation.
- • Monitor and replenish buffet items, maintaining temperature and presentation.
