Sell fine jewelry and watches to consumers by providing expert guidance on gemstones, metals, and styles; process sales, financing, and after-sales services while maintaining secure displays and exceptional customer service.
  • • Greet customers and determine their jewelry preferences, occasion, and budget.
  • • Open and close cash registers; count cash, reconcile drawers, and process deposits.
  • • Maintain knowledge of current collections, promotions, warranties, and store policies.
  • • Compute prices, apply discounts and taxes, and process cash, card, or financing payments.
  • • Maintain accurate sales, layaway, and customer profile records.
  • • Follow security and loss-prevention procedures for high-value merchandise.
  • • Recommend, select, and locate pieces based on style, metal, gemstone, and size needs.
  • • Answer questions about brands, gemstones, metals, and certifications.
  • • Explain product details, diamond grading, and care and cleaning instructions.
  • • Arrange, ticket, and display jewelry and watches in cases to drive sales.
  • • Prepare sales receipts, appraisals, and warranty or service paperwork.
  • • Place special orders, customizations, or source specific sizes and styles.
  • • Demonstrate features and fit; operate clasps, watch functions, and cleaning tools.
  • • Clean and polish display cases and maintain presentation standards.
  • • Process exchanges and returns in line with policy and condition checks.
  • • Package purchases securely and provide gift wrapping or presentation boxes.
  • • Assist with ring sizing, watch band adjustments, and fitting.
  • • Conduct inventory counts; tag items and request replenishment or transfers.
  • • Prepare merchandise for pickup or shipment; verify serial numbers and documentation.
  • • Arrange delivery, insurance, financing, and service plans for purchases.
  • • Provide quotes for trade-ins, upgrades, or metal and gemstone buybacks.
  • • Estimate costs and timelines for repairs, resizing, engraving, or stone replacement.
