Advise customers on cosmetics, skincare, and fragrance; provide personalized recommendations and demos; process sales and returns; maintain displays, testers, and inventory; and support promotions and clienteling to drive store results.
  • • Greet clients and assess skin type, concerns, and beauty goals.
  • • Recommend, select, and locate cosmetics, skincare, haircare, and fragrance to meet client needs.
  • • Color-match foundations and help clients test products using sanitary practices.
  • • Demonstrate application techniques and proper product use and care.
  • • Answer questions about ingredients, suitability, routines, and store offerings.
  • • Maintain knowledge of new launches, promotions, loyalty programs, and return policies.
  • • Open and close POS registers; count cash, balance drawers, and prepare deposits.
  • • Compute prices, apply discounts, total purchases, and process cash, card, and digital payments.
  • • Prepare receipts and gift receipts; process exchanges and returns per policy.
  • • Create and update client profiles and maintain sales and service records.
  • • Ticket, arrange, and refresh visual displays to promote sales.
  • • Restock shelves, monitor inventory levels, and request replenishment.
  • • Maintain tester hygiene; sanitize tools and work areas; follow safety standards.
  • • Assemble samples and gift-with-purchase; bag and gift-wrap purchases.
  • • Place special orders or locate items at other stores or online.
  • • Schedule makeovers, skincare consultations, and events; manage appointments.
  • • Promote and enroll clients in loyalty programs, subscriptions, and store credit.
  • • Support BOPIS, ship-to-home, and online order pickups.
  • • Watch for theft and fraud and follow loss prevention procedures.
  • • Participate in inventory counts and audits; receive, label, and organize new stock.
  • • Share product feedback and client trends with the team; meet personal sales goals.
  • • Keep counters, testers, mirrors, and tools clean and presentable.
