Description
Sell new and used vehicles by guiding customers through selection, test drives, pricing, financing, trade-ins, and delivery while maintaining product knowledge and compliance.
- • Greet customers and assess driving needs, budget, and preferences.
- • Verify driver's license/insurance and lead test drives safely.
- • Maintain knowledge of inventory, trims, options, pricing, incentives, and finance/lease programs.
- • Present vehicles and demonstrate features, technology, and safety systems.
- • Answer questions about vehicles, warranties, dealership policies, and the purchase process.
- • Recommend and match vehicles to customer needs.
- • Compute purchase and lease payments, taxes, fees, and trade-in values; provide quotes.
- • Appraise or gather information for trade-in valuations and explain offers.
- • Prepare buyers' orders, sales contracts, and required DMV/title paperwork.
- • Submit and process credit applications with lenders.
- • Explain and sell protection plans, warranties, accessories, and service contracts ethically.
- • Coordinate vehicle detailing, inspections, and delivery preparation.
- • Arrange vehicle delivery or pickup and conduct delivery orientations.
- • Maintain accurate CRM and deal records; track leads and follow-ups.
- • Receive deposits, issue receipts, and finalize deals per dealership procedures.
- • Monitor showroom and lot security; follow key-control and test-drive protocols.
- • Arrange dealer trades or locate vehicles at other stores to meet customer needs.
- • Set up showroom and lot displays, window stickers, and online listings to promote sales.
- • Handle inbound calls, emails, and chats; schedule appointments.
- • Address post-sale questions and coordinate issue resolution with service and F&I.
- • Keep showroom and lot vehicles clean and presentable; perform basic checks.
- • Manage inventory counts, VIN tracking, and request replenishment or allocations.
- • Adhere to state and federal regulations, disclosures, and dealership policies.
- • Meet or exceed sales and customer satisfaction goals.
