Description
Mix and apply pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, and insecticides to trees and shrubs using sprays, soil drenches, trunk injections, or granular treatments. Usually requires specific training and state or federal certification.
- • Fill sprayer and injection tanks with water and chemicals according to label formulas.
- • Mix pesticides, herbicides, or fungicides for application to trees and shrubs.
- • Apply treatments to canopy and root zones using correct droplet size, coverage, and weather considerations.
- • Maneuver hoses, nozzles, and wands to direct spray throughout tree and shrub canopies.
