- • Calculate fumigant dosages based on enclosure volume, temperature, pest, and label directions.
- • Aerate and ventilate after exposure until readings meet clearance levels; document reentry authorization.
- • Handle, store, and transport fumigants and cylinders safely; wear and maintain required PPE.
- • Clean, service, and store equipment; dispose of tarps and materials in compliance with rules.
- • Seal structures, tarps, or containers to contain gas using tape, plastic sheeting, sand snakes, or foam.
- • Set and operate cylinders, regulators, vaporizers, fans, hoses, and valves to introduce fumigant.
- • Place sampling lines and use gas meters to monitor concentrations during exposure.
- • Post warning signage, establish exclusion zones, and secure buildings per regulations.
