Description
Ensure passenger safety and comfort on buses and at stops or terminals by assisting with boarding, explaining safety procedures, verifying fares or reservations, securing mobility devices, and answering travel questions.
- • Provide boarding and alighting assistance to elderly, disabled, or injured passengers.
- • Operate or assist with bus doors, wheelchair ramps, or kneeling features.
- • Respond to passengers’ questions, requests, or complaints during the trip.
- • Explain and demonstrate bus safety procedures and emergency equipment.
- • Inspect safety and accessibility equipment before departure.
- • Communicate with the driver to coordinate departures, stops, and emergencies.
