Description
Perform clerical and inventory control work to receive, catalog, secure, and track property and evidence. Maintain accurate records and chain of custody; coordinate intake, storage, transfer, and disposition; assist staff and the public; operate property management systems; and ensure compliance with policies, safety standards, and applicable laws.
- • Receive, log, and tag property, evidence, and found items.
- • Verify documentation and create records in property management systems.
- • Maintain chain of custody and security controls for all items.
- • Store, organize, and track items per category and retention rules.
- • Prepare and release property to authorized owners or agencies.
