Plan, direct, and coordinate administrative and clinical support operations in a medical office or outpatient clinic, overseeing staffing, scheduling, billing, compliance, and finances to deliver efficient, high-quality patient services.
  • • Supervise and evaluate front office, clinical support, and administrative staff.
  • • Set office performance goals, KPIs, and operating procedures.
  • • Recruit, onboard, schedule, and train office and clinical support staff.
  • • Oversee EHR and practice management systems, data integrity, and reporting.
  • • Create and enforce office policies, workflows, and compliance procedures.
  • • Manage budgets, billing, and revenue cycle (coding, claims, denials, credentialing) and financial reporting.
  • • Coordinate staff assignments, provider schedules, and appointment templates.
  • • Facilitate communication among providers, staff, ownership, and external partners.
  • • Monitor patient flow, room utilization, and staffing to optimize access and service.
  • • Stay current on healthcare regulations, payer policies, coding updates, and health IT changes.
  • • Lead practice changes, including technology upgrades, process improvements, and service expansions.
  • • Prepare operational, financial, and quality reports for leadership and providers.
  • • Plan and oversee patient services, care coordination workflows, and staff development.
  • • Liaise with referral sources, community partners, and vendors to resolve issues and promote services.
  • • Oversee facilities, equipment, and supply inventory; ensure OSHA and HIPAA compliance and emergency readiness.
  • • Analyze scheduling, billing, and patient feedback data to improve operations and manage risk and cash flow.
  • • Support development of new clinic services, telehealth offerings, and outreach programs.
  • • Develop training materials and conduct in-service education for staff and patient-facing instructions.
