Description
Plan, direct, and coordinate resort operations across lodging, food and beverage, recreation, spa, and events to deliver safe, profitable, and exceptional guest experiences.
- • Oversee guest check-in/check-out and front desk service.
- • Resolve guest inquiries, requests, and complaints across accommodations and amenities.
- • Assign duties and schedule staff for rooms, food and beverage, recreation, and maintenance.
- • Coordinate front office, housekeeping, engineering, and concierge operations.
- • Set room and package rates; develop budgets; allocate departmental funds.
- • Partner with food and beverage, spa, golf, and sales leaders to align resort activities.
- • Manage resort facilities, amenities, and grounds.
- • Monitor and coach staff to meet service, safety, and brand standards.
- • Recruit, hire, and train seasonal and full-time staff.
- • Manage room inventory and assign accommodations to optimize occupancy.
- • Develop and enforce resort policies, SOPs, and emergency procedures.
- • Inspect rooms, venues, pools, and public areas for cleanliness and condition.
- • Prepare operational reports, forecasts, and required regulatory paperwork.
- • Source vendors; purchase supplies; coordinate laundry, maintenance, and waste services.
- • Oversee guest communications, concierge services, and local recommendations.
- • Lead marketing, promotions, and public relations in coordination with sales.
- • Plan and execute on-site events, weddings, conferences, and group programs.
- • Manage advance bookings, deposits, and confirmations; handle exceptions and refunds.
- • Meet with clients and planners to define event details, menus, and setups.
- • Support operations during peak periods by assisting on the floor as needed.
- • Arrange excursions, activities, and transportation bookings for guests.
- • Monitor revenue, ADR, RevPAR, and ancillary spend; adjust strategies.
- • Ensure accurate billing, cash handling, and financial recordkeeping.
- • Maintain compliance with health, safety, pool, and liquor regulations.
