Description
Oversee the operational processing of loans from application through closing, funding, and post-closing. Validate data and documents, coordinate underwriting and closings, resolve exceptions, and maintain compliant records to support timely, accurate disbursements and servicing setup.
- • Verify accuracy and completeness of loan applications, disclosures, and closing documents.
- • Obtain required borrower documents and data from internal teams; ensure applications are complete.
- • Assemble and compile closing packages, including titles, insurance, tax forms, and lien documents.
- • Provide operational guidance and status updates to borrowers, loan officers, and partners.
- • Notify applicants of conditions, approvals, or adverse actions in compliance with policy.
- • Enter, update, and reconcile loan data and disbursements in banking systems.
- • Prepare disclosures, legal documents, checks, and government notices using document systems.
- • Generate and distribute amortization and repayment schedules.
- • Calculate, review, and correct interest, principal, fees, payoffs, and closing costs.
- • Order and track appraisals and valuations; verify collateral and lien requirements.
- • Retrieve and validate credit, employment, and asset verifications; resolve discrepancies.
- • Index, image, and maintain electronic loan records; ensure retention and audit readiness.
- • Coordinate and schedule closings with title companies and attorneys; balance and authorize funding.
- • Process funding wires, escrow deposits, and initial payments; post and reconcile transactions.
- • Package and submit complete files to underwriting with documented conditions and recommendations.
- • Order and track hazard, flood, and mortgage insurance; set up escrow accounts.
- • Monitor accounts for payment performance and covenant compliance; escalate delinquencies.
- • Process line-of-credit advances, limit changes, extensions, and renewals within policy.
