Description
Collect and document data in the field or remotely through interviews, surveys, observations, or record reviews. Ask protocol-driven questions, record and code responses, assist respondents with forms, and ensure completeness, accuracy, and secure handling of data; may sort, classify, and file records.
- • Conduct interviews and surveys by phone, online, or in person following study protocols.
- • Ask standardized questions and probe to resolve unclear or inconsistent responses.
- • Record, code, and upload data using electronic tools or designated forms.
- • Review collected data for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to criteria.
- • Contact and schedule participants via phone, email, text, or field visits.

- • Collect observational counts, timestamps, or measurements per protocol.
- • Capture and verify location or time data when required by the project.
- • Travel to assigned locations and manage materials, devices, and supplies.
- • Perform basic data cleaning, validation checks, and reconciliation with source records.
- • Train or mentor new data collection staff as directed.
