Description
Plan, direct, and optimize day-to-day operations across departments or sites. Develop and implement policies, allocate people and materials, and ensure delivery of products or services on time, within budget, and to quality standards. Lead through supervisors and cross-functional partners to improve processes, performance, and compliance.
  • • Direct and coordinate operational activities across production, service, logistics, and support functions.
  • • Review KPIs, financial statements, and activity reports to monitor performance and drive improvements.
  • • Develop and implement operating policies, SOPs, and process standards.
  • • Plan and manage budgets, forecasts, and cost-control initiatives.
  • • Oversee workforce planning, scheduling, and assignment of duties.
  • • Support hiring, training, and performance evaluations for operational staff.
  • • Manage procurement and vendor relationships to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.
  • • Optimize inventory, materials flow, and the movement of goods in and out of facilities.
  • • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
  • • Coordinate cross-functional initiatives such as product launches, capacity changes, or service rollouts.
  • • Lead continuous improvement, Lean/Six Sigma, or automation initiatives.
  • • Plan facility layouts, capacity, and equipment maintenance; recommend new sites or renovations as needed.
  • • Implement sustainability practices for waste reduction, energy use, and resource conservation.
  • • Identify areas needing cost reduction or program improvement and execute corrective actions.
  • • Set and manage service-level targets and operating metrics; balance demand and capacity.
  • • Oversee risk management, incident response, and business continuity planning.
  • • Resolve operational issues and customer escalations to maintain service quality.
