Description
Sell, deliver, and merchandise products to assigned accounts along a scheduled route, driving a company vehicle. Build customer relationships, take and transmit orders, rotate and stock product, collect payments, and meet service and sales targets while ensuring accurate, on-time deliveries.
- • Review daily stop list, pick product, and load the truck accordingly.
- • Merchandise shelves and coolers; set displays and place point-of-sale materials.
- • Perform basic vehicle inspections and keep the truck clean and stocked with supplies.
- • Increase sales at each stop through upselling, sampling, and securing add-on orders.
- • Collect payments, make change, and issue receipts.
- • Resolve customer questions and complaints promptly.
- • Present new products, promotions, and price changes to accounts.
- • Write and submit customer orders per company guidelines.
- • Drive route vehicle to deliver products safely and on time.
- • Service customer equipment and rotate out-of-date product.
- • Record sales, deliveries, returns, and inventory in the route system.
