Description
Drive a route truck to deliver fresh bread and baked goods to retail and foodservice accounts, stock and merchandise shelves, rotate inventory for freshness, take or confirm orders, and collect payments while maintaining food safety and customer relationships.
  • • Collect payments or obtain signatures for invoices and provide receipts.
  • • Address customer issues about quality, shortages, or returns.
  • • Inform customers of new bakery items, promotions, and price changes.
  • • Take or adjust standing orders and write invoices per company policy.
  • • Drive a route truck to deliver bread and baked goods on a set schedule.
  • • Review stop lists and load bread racks and trays for the route.
  • • Stock shelves and displays, rotate by date (FIFO), and remove stales for credit.
  • • Set up and maintain merchandising displays and place POS materials.
  • • Record deliveries, credits, and returns in handheld or daily logs.
  • • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections; clean and maintain vehicle and racks.
  • • Follow food safety and sanitation procedures during handling and transport.
