Description
Drive a car, van, or light truck over assigned routes to pick up and deliver goods or food orders. Load and unload items, obtain signatures or payments, provide courteous service, keep accurate delivery records, and maintain the vehicle.
  • • Load, secure, and verify items against the delivery manifest.
  • • Drive assigned routes to deliver packages, food, or supplies on time.
  • • Obtain signatures, proof of delivery, or photo confirmation as required.
  • • Collect COD payments and issue receipts when needed.
  • • Communicate ETAs, delays, and instructions with dispatch and customers.
  • • Address basic customer issues or escalate appropriately.
  • • Record deliveries, mileage, and expenses in a mobile app or logs.
  • • Follow GPS and adjust routes to meet delivery windows.
  • • Pick up returns or exchanges and complete required paperwork.
  • • Inspect the vehicle daily, refuel, and report maintenance needs.
  • • Lift and handle items safely and follow traffic and safety rules.
