Description
Operate a delivery vehicle on assigned routes to deliver, pick up, and restock products; verify orders, provide customer service, and maintain route and vehicle records. May collect payments and obtain signatures.
- • Drive a truck or van along assigned routes to deliver and pick up goods.
- • Load, secure, and unload products according to the route manifest.
- • Verify orders at each stop, obtain signatures, and update delivery records.
- • Collect payments, make change, and issue receipts when required.
- • Listen to and resolve customer issues regarding products or services.
- • Inform regular customers of new products, services, schedules, or price changes.
- • Write or enter customer orders, returns, and adjustments per company guidelines.
- • Service vending or micro-market accounts by refilling machines, removing dated product, and collecting funds.
- • Arrange or restock merchandise and place promotional materials at delivery sites.
- • Inspect, fuel, and perform basic maintenance on the vehicle and route equipment.
- • Review daily stop lists and plan or adjust routes and loads accordingly.
