Description
Assist customers with renting equipment or merchandise by explaining options and policies, computing costs, preparing agreements, scheduling reservations, and processing payments, checkouts, and returns.
  • • Process returns; inspect for damage, record usage, and settle final charges.
  • • Maintain records of rentals, transactions, inventory status, and customer counts.
  • • Answer phones and online inquiries; provide information and take orders.
  • • Prepare and stage rental items and accessories for display or pickup.
  • • Coordinate minor maintenance or repairs and route items for service as needed.
  • • Balance cash drawer and reconcile daily transactions.
  • • Greet customers and determine rental needs, including type, duration, and quantity.
  • • Provide information on item availability, features, and operation.
  • • Recommend suitable rental options, accessories, and alternatives.
  • • Explain rental fees, deposits, terms, and policies.
  • • Prepare rental agreements; verify IDs or licenses and obtain signatures.
  • • Compute rental charges, taxes, and fees; receive payments and deposits.
  • • Create, modify, and cancel reservations; schedule items for requested times.
  • • Inspect, clean, and test items before checkout; adjust settings to customer needs.
  • • Demonstrate proper use and care; provide safety instructions.
  • • Issue and tag items at pickup; record serial numbers and condition.
