Description
Receive and process customer laundry, dry cleaning, and wash-and-fold orders at the counter; explain service options and policies, compute costs, accept payment, tag and track garments, coordinate processing and pickup/delivery, and ensure quality customer service.
- • Greet customers and receive laundry, dry cleaning, and alterations orders.
- • Inspect garments for stains, damage, and fabric type; note special instructions.
- • Check pockets and tag items with customer and order information.
- • Explain services, care options, turnaround times, and policies.
- • Compute charges by piece, weight, or service; apply discounts; issue receipts.
- • Accept payments and provide change or digital confirmations.
