Description
Prepare and cook made-to-order foods with short prep times in a fast-paced setting; take orders and serve guests at counters or tables as needed.
- • Clean and sanitize prep equipment, workstations, counters, and tables.
- • Coordinate ticket times so items for the same order finish together.
- • Grill, cook, and fry items such as eggs, pancakes, fries, and bacon.
- • Take customer orders and cook short-prep foods to specification.
- • Grill and garnish burgers and other meats, including steaks and chops.
- • Assemble plates from the line or steam table and serve at counters or tables.
- • Order, receive, and stock supplies on shelves and in coolers.
- • Accept payments, make change, or process charge slips as needed.
- • Restock stations; rotate, label, and date food in coolers.
- • Perform prep such as making sandwiches, soups, salads, baking simple items, and brewing coffee or tea.
- • Perform general cleaning and maintain food-safety standards in kitchen and dining areas.
