Description
Prepare and assemble made-to-order sandwiches, wraps, and salads with short preparation times. Take customer orders, customize ingredients, operate toasters or presses, and serve patrons at the counter while maintaining food safety and cleanliness.
  • • Clean and sanitize food prep equipment, utensils, workstations, and counters.
  • • Plan and pace orders so sandwiches, sides, and drinks are ready together.
  • • Operate oven, toaster, or press to heat breads and proteins; grill paninis as needed.
  • • Take customer orders and assemble sandwiches to exact specifications.
  • • Portion, layer, and garnish meats, cheeses, vegetables, and condiments per recipes.
  • • Build salads and wraps; add sides and soups; hand off completed orders at the counter.
  • • Receive, order, and stock ingredients, paper goods, and beverages.
  • • Accept payments, make change, and process electronic transactions.
  • • Restock the line; rotate inventory; label and date items in coolers and dry storage.
  • • Prep ingredients by washing, slicing, chopping, and portioning; bake or finish breads; brew coffee or tea.
  • • Maintain food safety and allergen standards; perform general cleaning in kitchen and dining areas.
