Description
Prepare and cook made-to-order pizzas, flatbreads, and related items in a fast-paced setting. May take orders from customers and serve patrons at counters or for takeout.
- • Clean pizza ovens, prep equipment, workstations, and counters.
- • Time and coordinate dough stretching, topping, and baking so orders finish together.
- • Stretch dough, apply sauces and toppings, and operate deck, conveyor, or wood-fired ovens.
- • Take customer orders and prepare pizzas to spec for crust, size, and toppings.
- • Bake and finish specialty pies; slice meats and prep vegetables for toppings.
- • Cut and box or plate pizzas and sides; serve at the counter or package for takeout or delivery.
- • Order ingredients and supplies and stock them in dry storage, coolers, and on the line.
- • Accept payments, operate the POS, and make change as needed.
- • Restock and rotate ingredients; label and date items in coolers.
- • Prepare dough, sauces, and toppings; make calzones, garlic knots, and simple salads.
- • Perform general cleaning in kitchen and dining areas.
