Description
Prepare and cook to order breakfast items such as eggs, omelets, pancakes, waffles, and breakfast meats with short prep times. May take orders and serve at counters or tables while maintaining speed, quality, and food safety.
  • • Open the kitchen, set up breakfast stations, and ensure mise en place for service.
  • • Clean food preparation equipment, work areas, counters, and tables.
  • • Plan and time orders so all breakfast items on a ticket are finished together.
  • • Grill, cook, and fry eggs, omelets, pancakes, waffles, bacon, sausage, and hash browns.
  • • Take customer orders and cook breakfast items to requested doneness and specifications.
  • • Assemble and garnish breakfast plates, sandwiches, and burritos; complete orders from steam tables and serve at the counter or tables.
  • • Brew coffee and tea; keep beverage and toast stations stocked.
  • • Accept payments and make change at the counter when needed.
  • • Order and stock breakfast ingredients, coffee, and paper goods.
  • • Rotate and label foods; restock coolers and dry storage during and after service.
  • • Perform general cleaning and closing duties in kitchen and dining areas.
