Description
Teach postsecondary cosmetology to prepare students for state board licensure and salon/spa employment, covering hair, skin, and nail services, sanitation, safety, and client care in classroom and supervised clinic settings at vocational schools.
- • Supervise students’ use of cosmetology tools, chemicals, and equipment; enforce safety and sanitation.
- • Observe and evaluate hair, skin, and nail services; provide timely feedback and coaching.
- • Deliver theory lessons and live demonstrations using mannequins, models, and multimedia.
- • Administer written, oral, and practical exams aligned with state board standards.
- • Track grades, service logs, clock hours, attendance, and licensure documentation.
