Description
Practice audiology under the supervision of licensed audiologists while completing clinical training. Assist with assessment and treatment of hearing and balance disorders; participate in hearing aid fitting and verification, auditory training, cochlear implant support, screenings, patient counseling, research assistance, and clinic operations.
- • Perform otoscopy and assist with cerumen management under supervision.
- • Support patient and family education on hearing health and device use.
- • Help plan and deliver hearing screening programs in clinics and the community.

- • Teach patients, parents, and teachers communication strategies under guidance.
- • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on implant rehabilitation and auditory training.
- • Monitor and document patient progress and outcomes under supervision.
- • Assist with hearing conservation activities, including noise level checks and screenings.
- • Coordinate referrals and follow-up communications under supervision.
- • Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling, inventory, and equipment checks.
- • Maintain accurate, timely patient records per clinic policies and privacy regulations.
