Inspect vehicles, equipment, cargo, and storage areas to ensure safe and compliant transport of people or goods. Verify securement and environmental controls, document findings, and direct corrective actions across shipping and receiving operations.
  • • Prepare and submit inspection and shipment completion reports.
  • • Inspect shipments to verify freight is securely braced and blocked.
  • • Record freight conditions, handling practices, and problems encountered.
  • • Advise crews on safe stowage of hazardous and heavy cargo.
  • • Observe loading and unloading to ensure compliance with procedures.
