Description
Coordinate procurement and inventory activities to ensure timely availability and delivery of materials and services. Compile and manage supply records, prepare purchase orders, and liaise with suppliers and internal teams to maintain uninterrupted supply.
  • • Coordinate and expedite deliveries; resolve shortages, delays, and quality issues with suppliers.
  • • Review and validate requisitions for accuracy, specifications, and approvals.
  • • Maintain purchasing records, price lists, and status reports.
  • • Analyze quotes and bids to select best-value suppliers based on price, specs, and lead time.
  • • Track and report the status of requisitions, contracts, and open orders.
  • • Reconcile order costs and route invoices to appropriate accounts for approval and payment.
  • • Coordinate receiving and verify shipments against POs and specifications.
  • • Match supplier invoices to POs and quotations to verify accuracy.
  • • Source and qualify suppliers; gather product and service information.
  • • Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory purchasing policies; advise stakeholders and vendors.
  • • Monitor inventory movements and process transfers and adjustments.
  • • Monitor supplier performance and recommend corrective actions or contract changes.
  • • Prepare and coordinate RFQs, bids, or solicitations as needed.
  • • Train users on purchasing and inventory procedures; provide guidance to junior staff.
  • • Approve invoices within authority limits and coordinate timely payments.
  • • Create and issue purchase orders; distribute to suppliers and requesting departments.
  • • Monitor inventory levels and reorder to meet demand.
  • • Serve as the point of contact for internal teams and suppliers on order status, changes, or cancellations.
  • • Execute routine buying activities when required.
