Description
Provide amenities and upkeep in restrooms, assisting patrons while maintaining cleanliness, supplies, hygiene, safety, and order.
- • Place wet floor and out-of-order signage as needed.
- • Stock and replenish paper products, soap, sanitizer, and toiletries.
- • Clean and sanitize sinks, toilets, urinals, stalls, counters, mirrors, and floors.
- • Empty trash and sanitary receptacles using proper PPE.
- • Respond to spills and biohazards using approved decontamination procedures.
- • Monitor restroom use to maintain hygiene, safety, and order.
- • Answer patron questions and explain amenities, policies, and procedures.
- • Provide hand towels, tissues, and personal care items to patrons.
- • Assist patrons with accessibility needs or mobility devices.
- • Report and document safety hazards, plumbing issues, and maintenance needs.
- • Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, or security for repairs or incidents.
- • Maintain inventories of supplies and request or order replenishment.
- • Keep the attendant station neat and organized.
- • Maintain a lost-and-found for items recovered in restrooms.
- • Activate emergency action plans and administer basic first aid if trained.
- • Inspect and test hand dryers, faucets, flush valves, and dispensers; report malfunctions.
- • Monitor and adjust air fresheners or ventilation controls within policy.
- • Log cleaning times and tasks on checklists or digital systems.
- • Provide or arrange minor garment-care items such as lint rollers or stain wipes.
- • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
