Description
Assist patrons in public baths, saunas, and steam rooms by providing linens and amenities, managing lockers and personal items, and maintaining clean, safe, and comfortable facilities.
  • • Issue robes, towels, slippers, and toiletry kits.
  • • Maintain a lost-and-found and document unclaimed items.
  • • Assign bathing areas, lockers, or storage baskets to patrons.
  • • Explain bathhouse policies, fees, hours, and available services.
  • • Check and restock towels, robes, slippers, toiletries, and cleaning supplies; place orders as needed.
  • • Refer patron concerns or complaints to supervisors.
  • • Report and document safety hazards and unsafe practices.
  • • Wash and dry towels, robes, and linens.
  • • Monitor baths, saunas, and steam rooms for proper use, safety, and order.
  • • Provide water, tea, or light refreshments upon request.
  • • Activate emergency procedures and administer basic first aid when necessary.
  • • Store patrons’ personal items, issue claim checks, and return items upon receipt.
  • • Provide clean towels, sheets, and robes to clients in baths, saunas, and steam rooms.
  • • Collect and sort soiled linens for laundering.
  • • Operate controls to regulate water, steam, and room temperatures per guidelines.
  • • Assist patrons with doors, seating, and carrying bags.
  • • Maintain inventories of linens, amenities, and cleaning equipment.
  • • Prepare bathing areas by setting out clean linens and sanitizing surfaces.
  • • Arrange laundry or drying services for patrons’ items when permitted.
  • • Clean and disinfect locker rooms, showers, floors, and benches.
