Description
Provide lockers, towels, and amenities to patrons; maintain cleanliness, safety, and order in locker room facilities.
- • Assign lockers or changing areas and issue locks, keys, or wristbands.
- • Explain locker room policies, hours, fees, and amenities; answer questions.
- • Monitor locker rooms to ensure rules are followed and safety and order are maintained.
- • Store and secure valuables; issue and redeem claim checks as needed.
- • Issue towels, robes, and toiletries; replenish amenities.
- • Collect soiled linens and apparel for laundering.
- • Operate washers and dryers to launder towels, uniforms, and related items.
- • Maintain inventory of towels, toiletries, uniforms, and equipment; reorder supplies.
- • Clean and sanitize lockers, benches, floors, showers, and restrooms.
- • Report hazards, maintenance needs, and incidents; escalate issues to supervisors.
- • Activate emergency procedures and provide basic first aid when necessary.
- • Maintain a lost-and-found and assist with item identification and return.
- • Issue gym clothing, uniforms, and athletic equipment; track check-outs and returns.
- • Set up and break down athletic equipment or team areas as directed.
- • Regulate sauna, steam room, or whirlpool temperatures and room conditions.
- • Provide assistance to patrons, such as helping with lockers or carrying items.
- • Arrange or facilitate laundry, pressing, or minor repairs for uniforms.
- • Support event or team locker room needs before and after competitions.
- • Stencil or label equipment or uniforms for identification.
