Description
Issue, track, and retrieve facility keys and access credentials; maintain secure key control and records; assist patrons or staff with access needs and enforce related policies.
- • Issue and receive facility keys, key rings, access cards, and fobs.
- • Verify identity and authorization before releasing keys.
- • Record key transactions in logbooks or electronic systems.
- • Maintain secure storage of keys and key cabinets.
- • Label and tag keys; update key maps and hook positions.
- • Track key inventory and reorder blanks, tags, rings, and fobs as needed.
- • Program, activate, or deactivate electronic keys and access cards.
- • Respond to lockouts and open doors for authorized patrons or staff.
- • Explain key policies, deposits, fees, and access procedures.
