- • Grade and sort fruit by color, variety, size, firmness, ripeness, appearance, aroma, and overall quality.
- • Remove bruised, decayed, or misshapen fruit and any foreign matter; place acceptable fruit in containers for packing or processing.
- • Weigh fruit or estimate weight by sight or feel.
- • Place fruit in containers according to grade and mark the grade on containers.
