Description
Deliver prepared dishes from the kitchen to guests quickly and accurately, coordinating with servers and expo to ensure correct items, seat numbers, presentation, and dietary needs while keeping service areas clean and stocked.
- • Verify each plate matches the ticket, seat numbers, and dietary notes at the pass.
- • Run food to tables promptly, carrying multiple plates or using trays safely.
- • Announce dishes and place items before the correct guest with proper seat positioning.
- • Check plates for required sides, sauces, garnishes, and presentation standards.
- • Finish or garnish dishes per chef or expo direction.
- • Coordinate course timing with servers; communicate delays, re-fires, or 86s.
- • Restock the expo and runner stations with plates, ramekins, utensils, and condiments.
- • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the pass, trays, and runner equipment.
- • Assist in clearing plates, glassware, and debris between courses; return items to dish.
- • Refill waters and assist with condiments, share plates, and extra napkins as needed.
- • Handle hot plates and allergens using proper safety and food-handling procedures.
- • Support expo by organizing tickets, staging orders, and prioritizing runs during peaks.
- • Assist with to-go order staging and safe delivery to guests or pickup areas.
- • Report guest feedback or issues to servers and managers promptly.
