Description
Coordinate student services, resources, and support programs to enhance student success, retention, and engagement. Serve as a central point of contact, triage student needs, connect students with academic, wellness, and career services, and ensure compliance and accurate records.
- • Maintain accurate and complete student records in compliance with laws, policies, and regulations.
- • Coordinate crisis response and referrals when difficult situations arise on campus.
- • Promote persistence by connecting students with tutoring, learning resources, and academic skills support.
- • Provide students with information on degree requirements, registration, financial aid processes, and campus resources.
- • Facilitate workshops and information sessions on orientation, success strategies, and career or transfer planning.
- • Conduct follow-ups with students to confirm services met their needs and track outcomes.

- • Collect intake information on students’ background, goals, and barriers to inform service plans.
- • Develop and oversee peer mentoring, peer advising, and tutoring programs.
- • Connect qualified students with campus employment, internships, or external placement services.
- • Sponsor or support student organizations, clubs, and co-curricular events.
- • Communicate with parents or guardians, faculty, and administrators, consistent with FERPA, to address student progress and resource needs.
- • Administer or coordinate assessments and interpret results to identify strengths and support needs.
- • Recognize and report concerns such as abuse, food or housing insecurity, or mental health needs, and coordinate interventions.
- • Advise on course selection, scheduling, and academic policies; triage to advisors or counselors for complex issues.
- • Collaborate with academic departments on program changes, student success initiatives, and scheduling that impact services.
- • Monitor student engagement and behavior in campus settings to identify support needs and make referrals.
- • Attend meetings, trainings, and committees to stay current and improve services.
- • Plan and promote career, transfer, and employment-related events in partnership with career services.
- • Help communicate and uphold student conduct policies and procedures.
- • Build relationships with employers and community partners to expand internship and service opportunities.
- • Support recruitment, yield, and enrollment initiatives through outreach and events.
- • Train, schedule, and supervise student workers and program interns.
- • Provide short-term, non-clinical support and case management; escalate to licensed counselors when appropriate.
- • Maintain a curated directory of off-campus counseling, legal, and social services and manage referrals.
