Recruit, advise, and evaluate prospective students, guiding them through the admissions process to meet enrollment goals and connect them with academic programs and campus resources.
  • • Maintain accurate and complete prospect and applicant records in CRM systems in accordance with laws, policies, and regulations.
  • • Provide timely support to applicants facing urgent enrollment or application issues, escalating or referring as needed.
  • • Help prospects explore academic programs, pathways, and transfer options to encourage informed decision-making.
  • • Provide information on degree programs, admission requirements, deadlines, scholarships, and financial aid basics.
  • • Present information sessions, webinars, and campus tours on admissions processes and program offerings.
  • • Conduct follow-up outreach with inquiries, applicants, and admits to assess needs and move them to next steps.
  • • Prepare admissions and recruitment reports, dashboards, and summaries for leadership and stakeholders.
  • • Plan and host admitted-student and pre-enrollment events to support transition and yield.
  • • Assess applicant needs for services such as financial aid, housing, disability services, or international advising, and make referrals.
  • • Coach applicants on completing applications, essays, recommendations, and interview preparation.
  • • Address community groups, school counselors, and partner organizations to explain admissions resources and timelines.
  • • Compile and analyze educational and labor-market information to advise on program fit and outcomes.
  • • Share program and admissions updates with faculty, advisors, and campus partners supporting prospective students.
  • • Review transcripts and application materials to verify eligibility and evaluate academic preparation per policy.
  • • Advise students on program selection based on interests, aptitudes, and academic background.
  • • Coordinate accessibility and accommodations for recruitment events and the admissions process.
  • • Interview applicants to understand goals, background, and program fit, and identify barriers to enrollment.
  • • Develop and support student ambassador and tour guide programs for outreach and events.
  • • Refer students to financial aid, career services, housing, or immigration advising as appropriate.
  • • Support and staff yield initiatives and admitted-student programs to increase enrollment.
  • • Communicate with parents, guardians, and school counselors to address questions and support applicant progress.
  • • Use records, assessments, and interviews to evaluate applicants’ strengths and potential for success.
  • • Recognize and appropriately refer personal or safety concerns to campus professionals.
  • • Advise on prerequisites, placement, transfer credit, and enrollment steps for admitted students.
  • • Collaborate with academic departments and administration to refine admissions criteria and messaging.
  • • Attend admissions meetings, professional conferences, and trainings; serve on committees as assigned.
  • • Plan and promote recruitment activities, including college fairs, high school visits, and virtual outreach.
  • • Uphold admissions policies, ethical standards, confidentiality, and FERPA compliance.
  • • Build relationships with high schools, community colleges, and community organizations to generate inquiries and applications.
  • • Lead and participate in recruitment and enrollment campaigns to meet target goals.
  • • Train and mentor student ambassadors, seasonal readers, and new staff on admissions practices and systems.
  • • Counsel individuals and groups on admissions timelines, requirements, and next steps.
  • • Refer applicants to counseling or mental health services when needs extend beyond admissions scope.
  • • Manage application queues, communications, and workflows to meet service-level agreements and deadlines.
  • • Analyze funnel metrics to inform strategy and improve inquiry, application, admit, and yield outcomes.
