Description
Provide comprehensive school counseling to promote students' academic achievement, social-emotional development, and college/career readiness through counseling, guidance lessons, crisis response, and collaboration with families, staff, and community resources.
- • Maintain accurate, confidential student counseling records per laws, district policy, and FERPA.
- • Provide crisis intervention and risk assessment during school emergencies.
- • Promote academic success by building persistence, study skills, and growth mindsets.
- • Advise on college options, financial aid, CTE, apprenticeships, and career pathways.
- • Deliver classroom guidance lessons on academic, career, and social-emotional topics.
