Description
Inspect facilities and operations to ensure compliance with environmental laws, permits, and standards; conduct site inspections and sampling; review records; document findings; and support enforcement and corrective actions.

- • Observe operations and pollution control equipment to evaluate compliance and operator competency.
- • Draft correspondence communicating compliance status, required actions, and appeal procedures.
- • Identify and prioritize issues requiring investigation, sampling, or follow-up inspections.
- • Stay current on environmental laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
- • Support internal or agency audits and respond to data and document requests.
- • Verify environmental procedures, training, and EMS documentation are implemented and communicated.
