Description
Provide overall leadership and direction for the company within policies set by the board of directors. Define vision and strategy, allocate resources, and oversee enterprise operations through executive leaders to deliver sustainable growth, profitability, and compliance.
  • • Oversee corporate financial planning, budgets, and capital allocation to fund operations and maximize returns.
  • • Partner with the board and executive team to align priorities, address issues, and resolve risks.
  • • Analyze operating and financial performance to identify improvements, cost reductions, and policy changes.
  • • Set and execute corporate strategy, policies, and objectives to drive sustainable growth and productivity.
  • • Approve annual budgets and major funding proposals.
  • • Direct P&L across product, pricing, sales, marketing, and distribution.
  • • Negotiate or approve high-value contracts, partnerships, and strategic agreements.
  • • Review executive reports and dashboards; approve recommendations or require revisions.
  • • Hire, evaluate, and develop C-suite leaders; delegate goals and accountability.
  • • Define organizational structure, establish departmental responsibilities, and coordinate cross-functional execution.
  • • Set talent strategy, succession planning, and compensation frameworks for senior leadership.
  • • Ensure robust financial controls, reporting, and administrative systems.
  • • Lead corrective actions, turnaround efforts, and performance improvement plans.
  • • Oversee enabling functions such as finance, procurement, legal, IT, and communications.
  • • Present results, forecasts, risks, and compliance updates to the board and investors.
  • • Manage investor, shareholder, customer, and key stakeholder relationships.
  • • Represent the company publicly through speeches, media, and industry events to promote strategy and brand.
  • • Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and corporate policies; communicate requirements to leaders.
  • • Engage with regulators, industry bodies, and policymakers on issues affecting the business.
  • • Escalate major policy and strategy decisions to the board for approval.
  • • Approve major capital projects, site selection, and technology investments.
  • • Lead corporate development, including partnerships, joint ventures, and mergers and acquisitions.
  • • Commission market, customer, and operational research to inform decisions.
  • • Approve enterprise marketing and promotional initiatives.
  • • Oversee investigations of significant ethics, legal, or compliance issues and enforce remediation.
  • • Ensure corporate bylaws, governance standards, and internal policies are implemented and enforced.
  • • Monitor and respond to legislative and regulatory changes; adjust company policies and strategy as needed.
  • • Champion company culture, values, diversity, equity, inclusion, and employee engagement.
  • • Lead enterprise risk management, cybersecurity oversight, and crisis response and communications.
  • • Drive innovation and digital transformation to enhance competitiveness and efficiency.
