Description
Teach postsecondary lecture and laboratory courses on chemical properties, reactions, and analysis methods. Emphasizes effective instruction, student assessment, and laboratory safety; contributes to curriculum development, advising, and departmental service, with limited research expectations.
- • Prepare and deliver lectures and demonstrations on general, organic, analytical, and physical chemistry topics to postsecondary students.
- • Supervise and instruct students in laboratory techniques, procedures, and safe practices.
- • Evaluate and grade class work, laboratory performance, homework, and papers using clear rubrics.
- • Create, administer, and grade quizzes and examinations.
