Description
Perform laboratory experiments and measurements to support scientists and engineers in research, method development, and quality control. Prepare samples and reagents, operate analytical instruments, collect and analyze data, document results, and maintain equipment, inventory, and safety compliance across physical, chemical, or biological studies.
  • • Set up and conduct laboratory experiments, tests, and analyses using appropriate techniques and instrumentation.
  • • Prepare reagents, buffers, standards, media, and experimental materials following SOPs.
  • • Collect, record, and interpret qualitative and quantitative data from solids, liquids, gases, or biological samples.
  • • Monitor data quality, sample integrity, and process compliance with protocols and specifications.
  • • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to scientists and engineers.
  • • Maintain, calibrate, clean, and sterilize laboratory instruments and equipment.
  • • Write or contribute to technical reports, lab notebooks, graphs, and charts documenting results.
  • • Order, receive, and inventory materials to maintain laboratory supplies.
  • • Assist in developing and executing sampling plans and analytical workflows for studies and quality checks.
  • • Operate and maintain pilot-scale, prototype, or specialized research equipment as needed.
  • • Assist in developing or optimizing experimental methods, procedures, or processes.
  • • Design, assemble, or fabricate simple experimental fixtures or apparatus for studies.
  • • Participate in lab safety programs and audits to maintain a safe work environment.
  • • Train or mentor new staff, students, or interns on proper laboratory techniques and equipment use.
  • • Coordinate sample labeling, tracking, and chain-of-custody to ensure traceability.
  • • Collaborate with cross-functional teams or core facilities to support project timelines and deliverables.
