Description
Teach undergraduate and graduate music courses—such as theory, history, ear training, conducting, music technology, and performance—with a primary focus on teaching and optional creative or research activity; direct ensembles, mentor student musicians, and support recitals and juries.
- • Evaluate and grade students' performances, assignments, projects, exams, and papers.
- • Explain and demonstrate vocal, instrumental, and ensemble techniques.
- • Prepare students for juries, recitals, auditions, and certification exams.
- • Deliver lectures and demonstrations on music theory, history, analysis, ear training, conducting, composition, and music technology.
- • Organize ensembles or chamber groups and direct rehearsals.
