- • Develop and manage discipline and federated BIM models with accurate geometry and data.
- • Consult with clients and project teams to define BIM goals, EIRs, LODs, and deliverables.
- • Author and maintain BIM Execution Plans, model standards, naming conventions, and workflows.
- • Coordinate architectural, structural, and MEP models; manage model exchanges and links.
- • Run clash detection and issue tracking; facilitate resolution with consultants and contractors.
- • Set up project templates, levels, grids, shared coordinates, and worksets.
- • Create, audit, and standardize families, content libraries, and parameters.
- • Generate sheets, views, details, and schedules directly from the model.
- • Produce quantity takeoffs and model-based cost and schedule datasets (4D/5D).
- • Support energy, daylighting, and performance analyses via model exports and parameters.
- • Maintain data to support sustainability and LEED documentation and reporting.
- • Integrate survey, GIS, and point cloud data; validate site and geolocation settings.
- • Conduct model QA/QC and health checks; enforce compliance with BIM standards.
- • Lead coordination and model review meetings; present model-based design intent.
- • Train and support team members in Revit, Navisworks, and CDE platforms.
- • Manage common data environments and permissions for model collaboration.
- • Prepare model deliverable matrices and digital submittals for design and construction.
- • Create visualizations, walkthroughs, and VR experiences from BIM content.
- • Support fabrication and shop drawing production from coordinated models.
- • Perform field verification using models; capture issues and update as-built models.
- • Exchange data using open standards such as IFC and BCF; manage interoperability.
- • Automate repetitive tasks using Dynamo scripts or APIs.
- • Track and report model progress, clashes, KPIs, and deliverable status.
