Description
Create, manage, and coordinate Building Information Models to support design, construction, and operations of buildings. Ensure data quality, standards compliance, and model-based deliverables to enable coordination, analysis, and efficient project delivery.
  • • Develop and manage discipline and federated BIM models with accurate geometry and data.
  • • Consult with clients and project teams to define BIM goals, EIRs, LODs, and deliverables.
  • • Author and maintain BIM Execution Plans, model standards, naming conventions, and workflows.
  • • Coordinate architectural, structural, and MEP models; manage model exchanges and links.
  • • Run clash detection and issue tracking; facilitate resolution with consultants and contractors.
  • • Set up project templates, levels, grids, shared coordinates, and worksets.
  • • Create, audit, and standardize families, content libraries, and parameters.
  • • Generate sheets, views, details, and schedules directly from the model.
  • • Produce quantity takeoffs and model-based cost and schedule datasets (4D/5D).
  • • Support energy, daylighting, and performance analyses via model exports and parameters.
  • • Maintain data to support sustainability and LEED documentation and reporting.
  • • Integrate survey, GIS, and point cloud data; validate site and geolocation settings.
  • • Conduct model QA/QC and health checks; enforce compliance with BIM standards.
  • • Lead coordination and model review meetings; present model-based design intent.
  • • Train and support team members in Revit, Navisworks, and CDE platforms.
  • • Manage common data environments and permissions for model collaboration.
  • • Prepare model deliverable matrices and digital submittals for design and construction.
  • • Create visualizations, walkthroughs, and VR experiences from BIM content.
  • • Support fabrication and shop drawing production from coordinated models.
  • • Perform field verification using models; capture issues and update as-built models.
  • • Exchange data using open standards such as IFC and BCF; manage interoperability.
  • • Automate repetitive tasks using Dynamo scripts or APIs.
  • • Track and report model progress, clashes, KPIs, and deliverable status.
  • • Deliver asset information and COBie or O&M data sets for handover.
