Description
Manage end-to-end wind energy projects from development through construction and commissioning, coordinating permitting, environmental reviews, contracts, engineering, and contractors while controlling scope, schedule, budget, risk, safety, and stakeholder communications.
- • Supervise subcontractors and consultants to meet scope, quality, safety, and budget requirements.
- • Prepare and manage RFPs for engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) and major equipment.
- • Plan and oversee site assessments and environmental studies.
- • Support negotiations for power purchase agreements, tax incentives, land rights, and interconnection.
- • Maintain and report project schedules, estimates, forecasts, and budgets.
- • Evaluate proposals and bids and recommend contract awards.
- • Provide clear project status updates to leadership, owners, lenders, and partners.
- • Review engineering and construction deliverables for compliance with codes, standards, and permits.
- • Coordinate technical support for design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
- • Manage project documentation, drawings, permits, and change logs.
- • Control project costs and approve invoices and change orders within authority.
- • Develop scopes of work for engineering, environmental, surveying, and field services.
- • Direct development, energy assessment, engineering, and construction activities to meet milestones.
- • Lead or assist with permit applications and track approvals and conditions.
- • Create and execute project management plans covering scope, schedule, cost, risk, communications, and quality.
